The Rutland Arms, Bottesford
Covid guidelines for customers and staff
We look forward to welcoming you back to our lovely pub.
Please be aware that the ‘new normal’ will be a different experience for us all.
The aim of the new measures is to help us all stay safe and healthy. We are also required to adhere to Government rules, which will be subject to checks by external specialists. These guidelines will be reviewed /changed as necessary. The key criteria for these measures are based on health, safe and legal.
The maximum capacity inside the pub is 40 seated persons
No standing or sitting at the bars, or standing in the pub.
When sitting inside, customers are allowed to gather at a social distance in groups of six, with a maximum of two households involved.
There will be a designated order/collection point at the lounge bar
Internal furniture must remain in place and cannot be moved from table to table.
Children are welcome but must remain seated with their parents at all times.
We will only take table bookings for food service at lunchtimes – Mon-Fri: 12-2pm
The six-person limit remains outside the pub, although friends from more than two households are allowed to socialise.
The pub entrance will be kept clear at all times. Customers are not allowed to stand, or smoke within the clearly marked area to comply with social distancing.
Toilets are strictly for customers use only. A maximum of two people at any one time, ensuring social distancing is observed. Toilets will be regularly checked and sanitised. Please notify staff if these need attention.
Sanitiser and wipes are available throughout the pub. Staff will ensure service areas are monitored and cleaned regularly.
We are advised to assist (NHS Test and Trace) by keeping a temporary record of customers for 21 days. Unknown customers will be asked to give their name and contact number when asked by a member of staff. The details will be kept in a book behind the bar. The reason is that if there is a breakout of the virus again, people can be contacted easily to help minimise potentially spreading this further.
Thank you for your cooperation and we hope you enjoy your visit
